Instead of creating the layouts using May's You & Me special - I decided to create cards. I love to share alternate ways to use the special and believe it adds to the value of the campaign. If one of your guests is not a scrapbooker - they may overlook this campaign solely because it is intended for scrapbookers - unless you show them it is not! In another post - I will share some ideas using this stamp set with Sweetheart paper. Tera Boring and I are doing an event together May 21 - Create for a Cause - a fundraiser for my youngest son's senior all night party and we are using Sweetheart for the projects. I wanted to showcase the stamp set using the same paper - why? To add more value to them purchasing the products used on the artwork we are creating at the event. And then they will be set to create! Combining business artwork priorities is a great way to work smarter not harder! Enjoy!

New Inspiration for your left over Inspiration brochures!
If you are like me, I had a few of these leftover brochures from the January preview of the Spring/Summer Idea Book. Being inspirated by Sheri Froeming's year long use what you have - decided to find a way to use these. I LOVE the size and so pulled together some things I already had...a clear envelope, business card, updated flyers for the Spring/Summer idea book that I use on a regular basis and packed it all up in the clear envelope. I put these in my purse and now have them to hand out to new contacts. It is a great way to use something I have already invested in - the products (except the SOTM) are still avaiable and the flyers market my business. A win-win! So if you have leftover brochures and would like to inspire someone new you meet - put together a new contact packet with them! If you would like the flyers that I have used in mine - simply send me an e-mail and request them at ScrpnChris@comcast.net! Have a super week!

April Stamp of the Month
I LOVE floral stamp sets - being a mom of two boys - I have to take all the chances I can to be "girlie"! While working with this stamp set, my initial thoughts were oh man a color stamp set but then I remembered a convention years ago when solid stamps were introduced. Up to that point we only had open or line stamps where you had to color and I remember thinking at convention "what are they (corporate) thinking?". I have learned over the years to TRUST corporate because they do know exactly what they are doing and guess what? Now I have to challenge myself with line stamps because I am SO used to solids! I hope you are inspired!
See you next week when I share an idea I am using for new contacts using the Inspirations Brochure!
