  1. Okay, I use games at most of my gatherings. I think that it makes it more fun plus I am able to "coax" guests into things without too much pressure! :) I alternate between two different games: Booking Bags and "Lucky Roll". The booking bags is really just decorated gift bags that have take home goodies for anyone who books a party on one of my "open dates". When a guest chooses one of those dates (I usually pre-pick 3 dates = 3 bags), they get to take home the whole bag. I usually put candy, a couple of handmade cards and some other accessories - ex: a grab bag of retiring/ retired porducts. I make the bags bright and fun so that people ask me about them. The other game that I use is called "Lucky Roll". I decide what my goal is for that party (usually more bookings :)) and set a "prize" for each number on a dice. When a guest places an order, they get to roll the dice. Generally I have 2 of the prizes be extra Hostess Rewards or some other bigger goodie that they get when they hostess a party. The other prizes are usually: candy (I use mini candy bars), an item from the grab bag (I use mini spools of ribbon, baggies of brads or buttons, small handmade items, etc.) and then one that is "roll again". I generally get at least one booking when I play this game. People are often "coaxed" into booking when they know they will get something "extra" at their party. After reading through the gathering games in the Training Academy, I am going to try "Conversation Hearts" at my next gathering. It is a great time to use Conversation Hearts and it looks a fun little game!

I updated my website today with pictures of the projects that I have completed as well as my workshops that I have planned so far for January and February. I have some more workshop samples to complete but at least the dates are on the calendar!! www.teraboring.myctmh.com
