Every year about this time, I find myself setting goals for the upcoming year and then as soon as I get a little off-track I tend to give up or move the goals down on my list of things to accomplish. I like the idea of baby steps - or in this case "links in a chain" as a visual way to stay on track and feel like I am moving towards accomplishing my goal. SO, I am setting two goals for myself this year: 1) My first goal is really in two parts - getting all of my old pictures organized and easy to access and then completing at least 1 layout each week for the whole year. I want to get my pictures that are already developed (pre-digital camera era) scrapbooked and out from under my bed and the top of the closet :) so I am making that one of my goals. 2) I want to contact at least 3 customers each and every week. I would like to start contacting my customers on a more regular basis. I will do this in a variety of ways: email, call, or send a handmade card.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the Art & Soul epsiode from Dec. I had never thoght of using liquid glass that way. I think that it will look cool for scrapbook pages that have watery or snowy themes! I plan to use that technique in one of my layouts for this month. :)
I love, love, LOVE the colors used in the Wings papers and purchased the WOTG kit right away so that I could get a discount on the other stamp sets this month. I have been putting together my scrapbook layout and cards from the kit to show at my Inspirations party on Friday. It is my goal to sell at least 6 WOTG kits this month. This will be a stretch for me - I have only been selling the kits once in a while for the last few months. I have been doing other artwork with the patterns in the kit and willl be completing the pennant to show my customers the value of purchasing the kit. :)
